Activity Overview

During this session you will learn how to :

• Insert the Sketch of Part 3 into the editor from the Blocks palette.
• Use the Design Director to manage the visibility of layers.
• Create a 3D object by revolving a closed profile.

Introducing

The following tools will be used during this Session :

• Using the Revolve tool to revolve a closed profile.
• The Selection Info palette will be used to view how changes are made to the shape of the revolved profile.

Information

• Use your design which was saved from the previous Session or use the sample drawing for this session.
• This design is part of an assembly. Save each stage of the design.
• The Form Building Edges option is activated at various intervals for visual and construction purposes. Use Options | Drawing Styles | Display | Draw Form Building Edges to activate/deactivate this option.
• This Session uses the Ribbon menu and Workspace. Select the Ribbon menu from the start-up menu or view these instructions on how to switch to the Ribbon workspace from the Default menu.
