Take Note

  • Equal Chamfer distances will always produce a 45° angle.

The Chamfer tool creates a beveled edge at a specified distance between 2 non-parallel lines.The Chamfer tool, with both distances set to zero, connects a perpendicular line between 2 parallel vertices.

Select the Chamfer Distance, Distance tool from the menu options above and use the keyboard TAB key to access the data fields. Input a value of 15 into the Size A and B fields, using the TAB key to move between the fields if necessary.

The result is shown below.
