Activity Overview

During this session you will learn how to :

• Draw a simple cover plate shown in the illustration above using various Draw, Modify and Zoom tools.
• Dimensions will also be inserted onto the drawing.

The following tools will be used during this Session :

• Rectangle
• Using the Inspector Bar
• Navigation, Zoom Magnification tools
• Explode
• Parallel Lines
• Circle
• Trim
• Changing layer properties
• Dimensions
• Printing the drawing

 

Information

• This Session contains all the instructions on each page to complete the drawing. Each Task of this Session contains a Movie.
• The instructions flow from one task to the next and the illustrations are contained in a storyboard manner
• It is recommended that you save your finished drawing to a secure location as it may be used again at a later stage in this Module.
• Colors of objects in the images may differ from the objects on your screen.
• This Session uses the Default menu and Workspace. Select the Default menu from the start-up menu or navigate here on how to switch to the Default workspace from the Ribbon menu.
