Activity Overview

During this session you will learn how to :

• Use the sketch of Part 2 which is stored in the Blocks palette to create a 3D object.
• Draw cylinders onto the sketch.
• Use the Assemble by 3 Points tool to relocate objects in 3-dimensional space
• Use a two-sided extrusion.
• Use Boolean functions to add and subtract volume from primary units.

Introducing

The following tools will be used during this Session :

• Cylinder
• Assemble by 3 Points
• The Relative Coordinate mode.

Information

• Use your design which was saved from the previous Session or use the sample drawing for this session.
• This design is part of an assembly. Save each stage of the design.
• The Form Building Edges option is activated at various intervals for visual and construction purposes. Use Options | Drawing Styles | Display | Draw Form Building Edges to activate/deactivate this option.
• This Session uses the Ribbon menu and Workspace.
