Session Summary

2D Sketch geometrycan be used to create profiles which can be extruded to create a 3D shape.

The Blocks palette can be used to store various stages of the design and can include sketches, models etc. When Blocks are inserted into the editor from the Blocks palette, they must be exploded.

An extrusion can be created from a closed 2D profile to produce a 3D object.

3D Shapes can be duplicated using a similar method to that used in 2D drawings, however, the Workplane must be in alignment with the current view.

3D Boolean functions are used to add or remove volume from parts.
