• Specific intervals can be given by relocating the origin and using coordinate entry.

 

Take Note

• Snaps not required when using Walls Split or Join tool.
• Menu options for the Default menu and workspace, the Ribbon and Palettes are provided directly under the Command Name heading.

 

Splitting a Wall

Ribbon : Architecture | Walls | Split

Default Menu : Architecture | Walls | Split

Palette : Panels Setup | Architecture | Split

This tool is used to Split a wall at a given point. Coordinate entry is useful for specifying the exact positions of breaks in a wall.Navigate here for more information on using the Wall Split tool .

 

Use the Wall Split tool to create a break in the approximate position and to the approximate size to that shown below.

Use this tool to create breaks in the walls in the approximate positions and to the approximate sizes shown below.

Split the wall in these positions. Sizes approximate at this stage.

Split walls can be rejoined using the Wall Join tool.
