Activity Overview

During this session you will learn how to :

• Use basic architectural tools to create a floor plan layout.
• Add exterior and interior walls which will then be modified.
• Insert doors, windows and a roof into the floor plan.

Introducing

The following tools will be used during this Session :

• Wall tools, drawing and modification.
• Inserting doors and windows of different sizes and styles.
• Using the Style Manager to control the appearance of doors and windows.
• Adding a roof using the Roof tools.

Information

• Some 3D views will be required to view the result of wall heights etc.
• 3D views are discussed and demonstrated only in relation to the current task.
• Menu options for the Default menu and workspace, the Ribbon and Palettes are provided directly under the Command Name heading.

• Approximately 50 minutes drawing time. Total session duration may vary.
