Sectional Views

In this Task 

A Right Sectional View will be created of Part-01 and Part-03.

Before you Start 

The Drafting Palette is displayed.

The full assembled model is displayed in wireframe.

Standard and Isometric Views have been created of the model and added to the Drafting Palette.

Menu options for the Default menu and workspace, the Ribbon and Palettes are provided directly under the Command Name heading.

Sectional Views

Tools | Palettes | Drafting

This feature of the drafting palette creates a horizontal or vertical sectional view of a component.

Using the Drafting Palette, select Part–01.

Use the viewing pane to select a Front sectional view of this part, shown below.

Add this to the Component/Assembly pane using the Add + feature so that the result is similar to the illustration, below.

Repeat this, adding a front sectional view of Part-03.  The result is shown below.
