Two Sided Extrude

In this Task 

The profile will be extruded to produce an equidistant extrusion of 200.

A total extrusion value of 400 will be achieved.

Before you Start 

Any view can be used, but an isometric view is preferable.

The Workplane is still seated through the midplane of the solid.

Two Sided Extrude

Ribbon : Draw | Draw 3D | Simple Extrude | right click | 2-Sided Extrude

Default Menu : Draw | Draw 3D Objects | 3D Profile Based | Simple Extrude

Palette : 3D Model | 3D Object | Simple Extrude

A 2D profile can be extruded bi-directionally to create an equidistant extrusion about the profile.The Simple Extrude tool can create an above and below Workplane extrusion of a 2D profile.The extrusion of the profile will be equal either side of the Workplane.

Select the Simple Extrude tool from the menu options above , then activate the Two Sided Extrude option, shown above. To activate the options either right click in the editor or select the options at the bottom left of the editor.

Input 200 and extrude the profile, shown below left.  The result is shown below right.
