In this Task 

  • The vertical edges will be blended to a radius of 10.

Before you Start 

  • The 3D Modify menu panel is required for this task.
  • Make sure the 3D shape has been generated as a solid. Double click onto the object, then select Solid from the 3D page.

The Fillet Edges tool is used to create a transitional surface by defining a radius or chamfer.Material is either added to, or subtracted from the volume of the solid..
 

Make sure the 3D shape has been generated as a solid. Double click onto the object, then select Solid from the 3D page.

From the menu options above , select Fillet Edges then right click and select the Round Vertex option.

TAB to the radius field and input 10, then select the solid.

At the prompt > Select an edge to blend, select the vertical edges shown by the red dots in the illustration, below. When finished, right click and select Finish from the local menu. It is not necessary to hold down the SHIFT key to select these edges.
