Session Summary

The following topics were discussed and demonstrated during this session. Please make sure the following topics are understood before proceeding to the next session.

The Meet 2 Lines tool creates ‘corners’ of intersecting or potentially intersecting lines. The planar geometry of the lines is not compromised when using the Meet 2 Lines tool.

The Fillet tool creates an arc or radius between 2 lines, circles or arcs to a specific radius. When blending a polyline, the lines and arcs can remain as a single object, or reduced to a collection of lines and arcs.

The Chamfer tool creates a beveled edge at a specified distance between 2 non-parallel lines. The Chamfer tool, with both distances set to zero, connects a perpendicular line between 2 parallel vertices.

The Extended snap mode can be used to draw to a projected orthogonal point of geometry, such as a vertex, intersection etc.
