Activity Overview 

During this session you will learn how to :

• Create a radial pattern using the Radial Array tool.
• Produce projection lines using the Project snap mode and the ExtendedOrthotool.

Introducing 

The following tools will be used during this Session :

• Radial Copy.
• The Project (perpendicular) snap mode.
• Projecting Lines to a Perpendicular Point.
• Using the Format Painter tool.
• Center Mark Points.

• A sample drawing for this task can be downloaded from the box above and saved to your hard drive. A copy of the finished drawing is found in the Blocks palette.
• The Blocks palette is displayed in the editor using Tools | Palettes | Blocks.
• The finished drawing can be dragged into the editor from the Blocks palette.
• All Blocks which are inserted from the Blocks palette into the editor must be Exploded. Make sure the inserted block is selected in the editor, then go to Format | Explode.
• To print the drawing, click onto A3 Landscape at the bottom left of the editor then go to File | Print.|To print the drawing, click onto A3 Landscape at the bottom left of the editor then go to File | Print.

Information 

• All tasks are reasonably detailed but please refer to the video in each task for full Animation information.
• Menu options for the Default menu and workspace, the Ribbon and Palettes are provided directly under the Command Name heading.
• Instructions for all tasks are supplied using the Ribbon menu.
