2D Circle

In this Task 

  • A 2D circle will be inserted on the edge vertex points at the top of the solid.

  • Vertex snap is activated.

2D Circle

Ribbon : Draw | Draw 2D | Circle/Ellipse | Double Point
Default Menu : Draw | Circle | Double Point
Palette : Sketch | Circle/Ellipse | Double Point Circle
A Double Point circle can be produced by defining 2 points on the diameter.This is useful when placing a 2D circle on a 3D object where the diameter points connect to an edge.

Right click in the editor and set the view to World Plan so that the circle can be placed on the top face of the model.

From the menu options above, select Double Point Circle, then target the vertex points shown in the illustration below.

Select the new circle, then use the Selection Info palette Tools | Palettes | Selection Info to change the radius to 3, shown below.
