In this Task 

  • A rectangular array of objects will be created.

Creating an Array

LTE Menu and Workspace : Modify | Array | Array
Palette : Modify 2D | Modify | Array Copy
This duplication tool allows objects to be copied in a rectangular manner by specifying the distances between the objects on the horizontal and vertical axes.The distance between the objects is referred to as the cell distance.Objects which are duplicated along the horizontal axis are referred to as columns ; objects which are duplicated along the vertical axis are referred to as rows.When using any of the object duplication methods such as Array, the object must be pre-selected.
 
 

Onto the intersection of the center lines, insert 3 concentric circles with diameters of 1925 and 35 shown below.

Next, relocate the 0,0 origin to the lower left corner vertex of the rectangle, shown below. Use Modes | Coord System | Relocate Origin to do this.

Creating aCenter Line Mark

LTE Menu and Workspace : Draw | Point | Cross
Palette : Panel Setup | Point & Arrow | Cross
Toolbar : (At left edge of the editor) Point | Cross
This tool is useful for marking centers of arcs and circles prior to dimensioning.The overall length of the Point markers can be adjusted using the Selection Info palette.

Right click onto the Point > Cross tool from the toolbar at the left edge of the editor and set the Cross size to 10.

In the General page, set the layer to CL. then click OK.

Left click onto the Cross tool, then use SHIFT TAB to access the coordinate fields. Input 15 into the X field and 10 into the Y field. Press Enter.

The point should automatically be positioned in the location shown below.

Insert a circle with a diameter of 5 onto the intersection of the point, shown below.

Select both the circle and the point using a left-to-right window selection, shown below.

From the menu options above, select Array, then TAB to the data fields and input the values shown below. Press Enter after the last value has been input.

The result is shown below.
