During this session you will learn how to :

Draw a simple view of a drawing, then use geometric aids to project lines to create the new view.

The following tools will be used during this Session :

Sketch tools : Line, Parallel Line and Circle tools.
Using the Extended Orthogonal mode to project lines and points.
Modification tools : Fillet 2D; Line Length; Meet 2 Lines; Shrink/Extend Line; Split Entity.
Adjusting layer properties.
Inserting Dimensions.
Creating & Inserting a layout in the Paper area.

The instructions for dimensions and the layout in paper space are dealt with in brief as the methods used are similar to those used in previous sessions.
Menu options for the Default menu and workspace, the Ribbon and Palettes are provided directly under the Command Name heading.
Instructions for this task are supplied using the Ribbon menu.

A sample drawing for this task can be downloaded from the box above and saved to your hard drive. A copy of the finished drawing is found in the Blocks palette.
The Blocks palette is displayed in the editor using Tools | Palettes | Blocks.
The finished drawing can be dragged into the editor from the Blocks palette.
All Blocks which are inserted from the Blocks palette into the editor must be Exploded. Make sure the inserted block is selected in the editor, then go to Format | Explode.
To print the drawing, click onto A3 Landscape at the bottom left of the editor then go to File | Print.|To print the drawing, click onto A3 Landscape at the bottom left of the editor then go to File | Print.
