Drawing layouts are produced by creating a view of the sketch in the Model layout and inserting the viewport into the Paper layout.Multiple views of different scales can be created.

Layouts of both the Sketch and the Model can be created and inserted into the Paper Space layout.

Layer control will be used to display either the Sketch or the Model.

Turn the view to World Plan so that the sketch and model are superimposed on each other.

Select Create View from the menu options above, then enclose the plan view of the sketch and model in a selection rectangle shown below.

Create a suitable name for this view, such as Sketch, then click OK.

Turn the view to Isometric South East, reduce the zoom, then create another viewport named Model, shown below. Do not attempt to capture the sketch dimensions; they are not necessarily required for the model.

Switch to the A3 Landscape layout by activating the Paper tab at the base of the workspace.

Insert the Main (Sketch) viewport using View > Viewport > Viewport shownbelow.

Insert the Model viewport shown below.

Viewport Layer Control

Layer control within a viewport can be managed by double clicking onto the viewport border then using Layer control to display or conceal a layer.

In this example, the Model layer has been concealed in the Main (Sketch) viewport, shown below by point 2.

Repeat this by double-clicking onto the Model viewport and switching off the display of the layer Profile. The result is shown below.
