The Chamfer tool creates a beveled edge at a specified distance between 2 non-parallel lines.The Chamfer tool, with both distances set to zero, connects a perpendicular line between 2 parallel vertices.

From the Modify menu select the 2D Modifications panel. Select the ChamferDistanceDistance tool.

Use the keyboard TAB key to access the data fields and input 15 into the Distance A field. Use the TAB key again to move to the Distance B field and input 15.

Select in any order, either the left vertical or bottom horizontal line shown by the markers below.
