Installing TurboCAD

Estimated reading: 1 minute 2 views

To install TurboCAD, insert the CD into your CD-ROM. If the installation process does not start automatically, select Start / Run from the Windows taskbar and type D:\setup.exe (where D is the drive letter of the CD-ROM). After you have installed TurboCAD, the Setup program creates a program folder. If you choose the default settings, TurboCAD is installed in the C:\Program Files\IMSIDesign\TCW20xx folder. This folder contains several subfolders that contain TurboCAD program files and related files such as templates, sample drawings, and symbols.

Note: The Setup program also creates a program group containing the TurboCAD application icon and shortcuts to the Help and the Readme file. The program group is accessed through the Start menu. Before you start the program, please read the Readme file, which contains the latest information on TurboCAD.

To remove TurboCAD from your computer: In Windows, select Start / Settings / Control Panel.

  1. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  2. Select TurboCAD from the list.
  3. Click Add/Remove and follow the instructions on the screen.
